Part 1: The Weft Between the Worlds

The monster that attacked Mererid verch Tangwystyl shouldn't exist.

It was a deathless beast out of a thousand-year-old legend. But the water-horse she had faced was all too real, and Mererid needed to know where it came from, why it had invaded her home, and how to stop the next monster attack. Even if that means leaving everything she's ever known in the Brecheliant Greenwood behind.

The bard Eleyn and the sorceress Orphne know that the Weft sealing off the mortal realm of Ynys Cantrevi from the Otherworld of Y Tir Teg is on the verge of collapsing, threatening an invasion that Ynys Cantrevi's divided lands have no way to fight. Their only chance is to mend the Weft before it breaks entirely, but their fellow scholars don't even believe Y Tir Teg exists, much less that it poses a threat.

Mererid pledges her spear and her wolf-shape to Eleyn and Orphne’s quest, but as the three women race to save Ynys Cantrevi from the elvish prince of Y Tir Teg trying to conquer it, Mererid begins to think that she might have pledged her heart as well…

The Weft Between the Worlds is a high fantasy web novel inspired by Welsh mythology, about three women, the love between them, and their quest to save their home.
